    •  This override allowed Arlington to increase teacher salaries to reach the average of our comparable towns, and to maintain essential town services 
  • School Committee Representative to the Arlington High School Building Committee, 2016 to present
    • The New Arlington High School is almost complete, on time and under budget despite the pandemic
  • Member, Communications Subcommittee of the Arlington High School Building Project
    • Co-created website, content and strategy over 10 years
    • Helped craft communication strategy for public
  • Member, Long Range Planning Committee since 2010
  • Town Meeting member, 2016 to present
  • Creator of multiple analyses for various union negotiations, comparing Town Manager 12 salaries with Arlington
  • Foundation Budget advocacy
    • Co-authored multiple articles about the Foundation Budget and its role in state funding for education
    • Presented testimony about the Foundation Budget formula to the Joint Committee on Education when they reviewed the formula for the first time in decades 
  • Co-creator, first teacher salary study, 2011
    • Working with a member of the Select Board, and the President of the Arlington Educators Association, we figured out how to do an accurate teacher salary comparison between Town Manager 12 towns and Arlington
    • The town has commissioned similar studies for all town positions every three years since we created the initial study
